I have an ADT Safewatch Pro 3000 panel, which is closely equivalent to an Ademco Vista 20P (essentially the same hardware, but the security nazis at ADT hardcode a few settings). I also just recently obtained a copy of Compass, which should, in theory, be able to connect to that panel via dial-up. I'm currently using my internal 56K modem (it's a Conexant modem), and after monkeying with the strings I can at least establish a carrier, but I just seem to get garbage - it doesn't successfully handshake and allow me to upload or download (nor does it even err out w/ the same msg - it varies).
